Child's Hope is a non-profit agency, housed at the School of Education, with the mission to protect children from the pain and suffering of abuse and neglect. Through education, intervention and advocacy, Child's Hope collaborates with Out-Wayne County communities in the development of the whole child, in strengthening families and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

IMPACT is a program of Child's Hope, designed to mentor at-risk preschool and kindergarten children. Work-Study college students are recruited from the University of Michigan-Dearborn to serve as mentors in the classroom, helping children to succeed.
