Bonnie M. Beyer is currently a Professor of Educational Administration and Public Administration and served as Associate Dean of the School of Education from 2000-2006. Beyer has taught and conducted research on organizational leadership and development, K-12 school principalship, school and administrative law, public relations, and curriculum development. Beyer’s experience in K-12 education prior to the university setting includes teaching and school administration in both regular and special education programs in public, nonprofit, and parochial schools. She regularly makes presentations and conducts workshops in her areas of interest. She has published in national and international journals, presented at state, national, and international conferences, and is the author of numerous journal publications, book chapters, and books on administrator preparation, educational reform, and the administration of special and compensatory programs in K-12 schools.
