Summer Academic Camp Exploration

The Summer Academic Camp Exploration curriculum is designed to provide Detroit area 6th and 7th grade students with a solid academic foundation for success in their future academic studies.  The camp curriculum covers three academic areas -- Language Arts, Foreign Language and Mathematics -- and is taught by experienced and highly qualified instructors. In addition to the four academic classes (Reading, Writing, Spanish and Pre-Algebra Mathematics) that are instructed Monday through Thursday, the participating students enjoy four “field-trips” to culturally-relevant locations on Fridays.  The first Friday will be used for student-study related activities while the last Friday is reserved for a celebration. ACE will operate June 25th thru August 3rd M-F.
