Steve Shotwell is the recently retired Director of Technology for the Troy School District where he served for 25 years and deployed approximately $65,000,000 of technology.  He has also served as a teacher, band director, and board of education president.

Steve has been recognized as the National Technology Educator of the Year and the ISTE Michigan Educator of the Year.  He is a past president of the Michigan Association of Computer Users in Education and has served as a K-12 advisor to Michael Dell's Platinum Council, a columnist for Electronic Learning, and an executive producer of the NASA-LINK nationwide educational videocast.
