School Technology (CBA 109) July 10th ($80)

This class covers the prevailing issues school districts face as technology infuses the curriculum. Topics include: Code of Conduct for internet use, board policies, staff development, distance learning, and the maintenance and replacement of hardware. Bring your district technology plan to see how it compares to a model plan.
Course Objectives: When you complete this course, you will be able to: - explain why your district's schools need technology
- discuss the process and importance of establishing a vision for technology in your district
- identify steps in the technology planning process
- explain the role of school boards in school district technology planning
- discuss steps for ensuring effective implementation of a technology plan
- identify the state's requirements for school district technology
