Decision Making and Problem Solving (CBA 256)

You were elected to make decisions. Sounds simple. Yet, some leadership teams can’t even decide how to decide. Participants will explore approaches for identifying and defining problems in ways that facilitate decision making.  You'll discuss ways to structure the decision making process and examine strategies for working through the process effectively. 

Course Objectives:

When you complete this course, you will be able to

• identify the conditions necessary for effective decision making
• employ techniques for identifying and defining problems
• explain various decision making models
• employ standard tools and strategies to solve problems that frequently vex governance teams
