Electronic CLE's

In an attempt to make use of the many technological tools available to us and in order to provide students with more authentic learning opportunities, we have started to develop some electronic CLE's for use by students and teachers.  Currently, there are only two of these electronic CLE's but we hope to develop more in the near future.  The first CLE is from Course 1, Module 1, Activity 5 and it is a video-based virtual tour of a local business called Hy-Vac Technologies.  The purpose of this tour is to provide students with a virtual field-trip experience and show how, through the use of technology, we can provide students with these types of experiences without having to leave the classroom.

The second electronic CLE is a podcast from University of Michigan-Dearborn economics professor Brooks Hull.  Dr. Hull provides an example from his childhood to explain how trade can help create wealth.  This podcast could be used with Course 5, Module 13, Activity 1 or Course 5, Module 14, Activity 3.
