- Minimum grade point average of B (5.0 on a 9.0 scale)
- A cumulative average grade of B or higher will be required in all graduate courses taken for credit and applied to the credit hour requirements. No more than two passing grades below B count towards a student's degree (a passing grade is C- or above).
- Diploma Application to be recommended for the MS/SE Degree, the student must file a formal application in the School of Education.
- Completion of 30 credit hours and completion of all MS/SE course requirements. See curriculum for each track.
